qTranslate weird problem (1 post)

I have been using qTranslate for a few months now on a single website. Now, I have added a domain to my hosting, to which I have 2 websites running wordpress. Both are on separate installations, both with separate databases. The problem I am encountering are the following when I have qTranslate activated

    Akistmet:
The key below was previously validated but a connection to akismet.com can not be established at this time. Please check your server configuration.

    Jetpack site stats:
We were unable to get your stats just now. Please try again.

    Plugins page (Add new):
An Unexpected HTTP Error occurred during the API request.

If I deactivate jetpack and reactivate it to try to connect to wordpress.com, I get another error:
Jetpack could not contact WordPress.com: register_http_request_failed. This usually means something is incorrectly configured on your web host. Couldn't resolve host 'jetpack.wordpress.com'

In the dashboard home page, on the bottom right side, there are 2 block, Titles are
    Wordpress Blog, Other WordPress News
In those 2 blocks I see these errors respectively:
RSS Error: WP HTTP Error: Couldn't resolve host 'wordpress.org'
RSS Error: WP HTTP Error: Couldn't resolve host 'planet.wordpress.org'

I contacted customer service, and they enabled cURL, but still get the error when I activate qTranslate. Anyone ever seen this problem before?

Again, this only happens when I activate qTranslate, and it happens to both websites, with only one website using qTranslate.
