• Hi,

    I’m using qTranslate to support multiple languages in my blog. When I change the language via qT language picker, everything gets translated (even the month’s names) except for the EC title “Upcoming events” in the sidebar. If I change the “WPLANG” in “wp-config.php” it translates but then again I would like to use the first language, too.

    Please, has anyone succeeded in changing of the EC language by qT language picker?

  • Hi,

    You can use its QuickTags feature.

    For example, I use Indonesian language besides English in my blog, then all I have to do is just replace the string:

    “Upcoming events”

    with

    “[:en]Upcoming events[:id]Upcoming events in your language”

    P.S.:
    [:en] <– QuickTag for English
    [:id] <– QuickTag for Indonesian

    Adjust it with you language code tag.

    Hope it is helpful. Cheers! 🙂

    @masino_sinaga:

    I would like to set the dates and months only to Indonesian language, but would like the back-end to remain in English.. So I don’t want to change the “WPLANG” in “wp-config.php”.

    Do you have any idea as to how I could do this?

    Cheers!
