   Building a new site for a customer. After I installed qTranslate slug the home wasn't shown as it should. The menu thought the Contact page was the current page. After I deactivated qTranslate slug everything worked fine.

   Any ideas?

   What version of WordPress you have installed?
   What plugins you have installed?

   Thanks Carlos. Discovered it was a problem with the theme. Contacted the theme developer... Works okay with other themes.
