putting WP in the ‘holy grail’

I am new to CSS. and I slightly new to PHP.
I need help putting a very ‘dumbed-down’ version of WP into this — http://glish.com/css/7.asp
dumbed-down means no calendar…. I want the links in the far right column, the text in the center, and a personal menu that I will make (in fireworks) on the right. so basically, I need help figuring out how to place stuff…..
