veggiemuffinI read and printed the info on how to Give WordPress its own directory but am still confused about part of the instructions.

Ii says to create a new directory then move the WordPress core files to the new location but I don't know what are the "core files". Most files are in a file called WordPress but there are also the files db_backups and stats. I created a new directory but can't see how simply moving all the files in WordPress to my newly created directory will change anything. Can someone tell me which files I should move to the new directory?
