   I have recorded my sound clip. I used Audacity. Now I can't figure out how to publish it to me site. Can anyone help me?

   Do I need to use another kind of recorder because I have used most of the audio plugins for wordpress but when I upload my files I get the white paper icon meaning it doesnt work.

   Just as an aside ... use of sound files on a site is almost guaranteed to get you blacklisted by most adults. People don't like being forced to listen to music they may not enjoy or like.

   What kind of file is your sound clip?

   If you post a url to the clip we can check it with just a browser.

   it is in AU Format. I don't understand how to post a URL to the clip??

   Sorry, I meant a link to the clip. I think you might want to convert the AU to a different format if possible unless there are specific reasons to want to use AU.

   You need to add a MIME and a video player to htaccess if you are using an Linux/Apache sever. But I would take kmessinger's suggestion.
