   I just set up a new blog, am unfamiliar with WP. How do I put an image in the header to replace the text which seems to go there automatically? Also, what are the steps to get and change a skin. I would appreciate if someone could email me that info at gary at tentmaker dot org Thanks, Gary

   go into your theme editor and look for the code that places that text as the header. most likely it will be surrounded by <h1> </h1>... Then just replace that with a standard image tag for the image you want there.
