   How would you put ads on the header?

   It all depends, what is your theme? The header markup is in your theme's header.php file. Insert image or link or ad template file wherever you want the advertisements to show up. You just might also need to add some styling in your style.css file.

   Sorry for my brief question. I'm using the Mystique theme (latest version). I would want to know how to insert ads on the header (preferable a 468x60 px size ad)

   Per link alchymyth pointed above, there is a section which helps you place ads in the header, although in that specific theme, you might have to move the description or delete it to allow for ad space beside the title.
