Put a Paypal Button in an Excerpt?

I am using a nice template that showcases my post’s featured thumb in a gallery style, with an excerpt beneath. I installed the WP Simple Paypal Shopping Cart plugin and want to know if I can put a buy button in the excerpt as well as in the main post body.

If so, how?

I see they are using a ‘Read More’ button in the excerpt which is likely in the post template file because I don’t see anything in the excerpt itself. My buy buttons work fine but I am not sure of the coding required to make it work in the excerpt. (each button is unique to it’s post because it has a description and pricing)
