   Hello,

   Minor query

   What is the purpose of the attach option in the media library.
   Is it simply a quick way to bring up page where image is.

   I'm not sure which version my site uses as a web developer created my site for me. I'm trying to familiarise myself with all it's functions so I can do all further developments myself.

   The site was started Februry this year (2011).I have not upgraged to 3.1.3 yet.

   The attachment is used internally by WordPress to identify which images belongs to which Page/Post gallery.
