   Hi,

   The site is http://www.pgmsemblog.com/

   I am seeing punctuation marks in permalink resulting in page not found errors. I am seeing this problem after upgrading to 2.8.4 from 2.6. why isn't the url sanitized?

   For example,

   http://www.pgmsemblog.com/2009/09/08/digg?s-growth-is-accelerating:-what?s-next?/

   The punctuation marks themselves are wrong. Digg's is converted into Digg?s

   Any help will be much appreciated.

   That's because you're pasting non-standard apostrophes in with your post titles. Try typing your post title in. Or pasting from a plain text editor only.

   Thx for the reply.

   I understand that we can avoid this by typing. But there are thousands of old posts having this problem.

   Is there a way to fix them?

   You could try using the Search & Replace plugin.
