   I want to apologize if this question has already been up, I have found a few similar questions but not the answer.

   I want to have three different blogs;
   Main blog (mainblog.com)
   Food blog (mainblog.com/food)
   Recipes blog (mainblog.com/recipes)

   I want main blog to show the latest post from the other two blogs. Also how can I specify how many posts will be shown on the main blog?I have not found a plugin for it and do not want to use the feedburner plugin. If someone can explain the easiest way to achieve this I greatly appreciate that.

   Edited to add: At the moment the main blog will be a static page, like a front page for the rest of the blogs.
