   All of a sudden there are no "Publish" or "Update" buttons when I go to edit a post or page.

   Any ideas on why this is happening?

   I'm running a self-hosted wordpress 3.03 install on Mediatemple.net hosting service. I uploaded it fresh via FTP.

   The problem described above (missing right column of admin functions when creating a page) is happening to me as well, but only when I try to create a new page or post. I still see the publish button and the whole right column of admin functions when I go to 'edit' a page or post.

   This coincided with trying to upgrade to 3.03, but I've tried going back to 2.92, 3.0 and 3.01 and it is still happening.

   It is accompanied by a permissions error (insufficient permissions to access this page) that is shown only when I try to click on links related to theme options.

   I've tried several themes and they all have the same permissions issue. I've deactivated all plugins - that did not help.
   I've uninstalled and started totally from scratch with a fresh download of WordPress and of my theme.

   I really would be thankful for any suggestions or help at this point.
