   New Blogger, here (Heck - we didn't even have a refrigerator when I was growing up...)

   I'm able to establish new categories on my blog, but can't figure out how to post a blog to a category: e.g., I have a category entitled "Testimonials" and but can't figure out how to actually post a blog to that category.

   You may need to check your Screen Options for Adding/Editing a Post and make sure the Categories box is checked.
