mdprinsI've had my site at http://www.chicagocdrates.com up for a couple months now with no problems. (GoDaddy/Linux/MySQL 4.1.) Other than writing new posts, I haven't made any changes to the site (plug-ins, etc.) in the past month. Recently, I tried to write a post, but when I tried to publish the post, WordPress hung and eventually gave me a blank screen. After various attempts at trying to fix the problem, I noticed that if I removed all the categories from the post, it published fine (if still slowly). It's possible that was just a coincidence, but when I go to Manage-->Categories and try to add a new category, nothing happens -- the name/slug/description fields clear out, but no new category appears.
I tried upgrading to the new WordPress -- nothing.
Any help would be appreciated...
