Hello,
I am building a site on WordPress. I can't publish posts: when I attempt to do so, the site just hangs and then I get a time out page.
However, I can add new pages without a problem.
I tried upgrading the WP build. And I have tried swtiching my theme to Twenty Ten. I still cannot publish posts.

Have you tried:
- deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).
- resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

Thank you for the suggestions, I deleted all my plugins and reset the folder, none of which worked. Ack...
Try re-uploading all files & folders - except the wp-content folder - from a fresh download of WordPress.

Thank you for all the help, I tried that and it did not work, so I contacted the host and it was an error on there end writing to the database. Thank you again.
