   Once the write of teh posting is done and then published the home page shows it in a portrait form and not the usual way. Why and how to fix?

   Portrait form? Eh? Whats that? Whatever it is, its entirely dependent upon your template.

   Sounds like something related to your theme. Including a link or the name of the theme you are using would help...
