   I upgraded my WordPress to version 2.8.6 but in the process, all my published pages disappeared.

   I ran the WordPress Database Backup plugin (before upgrading) which left me with a SQL file. Does anyone know how to convert an SQL to a WXR file? I'm going to try importing the missing pages.

   wpgal,

   Did you copy over the wp-content folder? Either way here is the link to import the SQL file: http://codex.wordpress.org/Restoring_Your_Database_From_Backup

   Thanks doc4!

   I've read over the instructions you provided and while not difficult, require more concentration than I possess right now. I'll attempt to restore the database in the morning.
