Publish locally designed page

    Hi,

    I am developing a wordpress site locally (Mac, Using Mamp). What is the best way to publish the site, getting all the content and settings correct. Installed wordpress on a domain of mine, and added the folders I have been working on locally. However it did not reflect the site I have designed. All the settings and changes I made locally was not there… Don’t know why.

    What is the best way to do this?
