Does anyone know of a way to publish my blog into book form? I know some sites will accept wordpress.com sites but I haven't seen anything for self-hosted wp sites. Any ideas????

Posted 2 years ago #Book Blurb using their program BookSmart claims it can download our blog entries and start a design to print process. WordPress does not seem to allow Booksmart to "slurp" from my blog. Responds saying wordpress does not respond. Any ideas, experieces, has anybody successfully worked through this with Book Smart??

Posted 1 year ago #I am an author and what I would like to do is have publishing integrated into my site. Export a number of pages from my blog as pdf, with a payment step to enable export when payment is confirmed the pdf goes directly to lulu.com or BookSmart. With Book Blurb, neither author or customer have control over the process. Thus, a wordpress theme is required that allows pages to be displayed more or less as they will look in the printed pdf version, and also allows texts to be organised into chapters. I really like to system used at Amazon.com where you can browse and search books, but not copy text. But amazon of course use scanned pages.
I think linking wordpress published pages to a commercial printing service would be a very useful innovation.
