I’ve just installed WordPress 3.8.2 and began building a site. When I edit a page, there is nothing in the right sidebar. Rather than the publish items and page attributes items, there is blank space. Any thoughts?

What theme are you using? Where did you download it from?

I’m using Dreamscape from Themeforest. I have tried to simply use the installed themes…twenty fourteen…same problem. I’ve deactivated all plug ins while using twenty fourteen, but still no luck.

I’m sorry but as you appear to be using a commercial theme, you need to seek support from the theme’s developer/vendor. We do not support commercial products here.

have you looked into the ‘screen options’ tab near the top right of that page?

The same problem exists when using the pre-installed themes and deactivating all plug-ins. So, I’m asking the question not as a person using a commercial theme, but as someone using the WordPress product.

I have used the screen options tab with no luck…indicates all menus are active.
