Support » Plugin: Jetpack - WP Security, Backup, Speed, & Growth » Publicize and subscriber stats

  • I just switched from .com to a self hosted blog.

When I used Publicize on my wordpress.com site, the publicize stats would include actual email subscribers PLUS the number of facebook and twitter followers I had.

Now when I check my subscriber stats in the jetpack, it only shows email subscribers. What changed? How can I keep track of my reach? I’d like for it to show me the twitter and facebook numbers as well.

    Hi Josie,

You are correct, we don’t currently show Twitter and Facebook followers, but it’s something that we’re looking at to see if we can integrate it in a future release. Thanks for the suggestion!

The irony is that publicized did have that feature two weeks ago when I was hosted at WordPress.com. Now that I have switched to a self hosted site the plug-in no longer has that feature. That is what I don’t understand. :/

Josie, WordPress.com sites and self-hosted sites are different creatures, but as I mentioned, it’s definitely something that we’re looking at for a future release.
