    I thought I solve the issue I had by using some code to disable the “tick boxes” so posts did not get published on facebook by default.

    The issue just remains, is there anyway that it is possible for some categories not to be published on Facebook?

    Some of our posts come from a feed and those should not be published on facebook etc.

    Hi Bilberg,

    There’s no way to automatically exclude certain categories from being Publicized. You’ll need to uncheck the Publicize boxes on a per-post basis.

    Thank you for the answer.

    The issue is that we have some posts that are autogenerated and should not be publicize. Furthermore since we get them through a feed, they are updated on Facebook everytime the feed updates.

    As I mentioned, there is no way to automatically exclude certain categories from being Publicized, unfortunately. I suggest trying another plugin to push posts to Facebook, or if your volume is manageable, manually post them to your Facebook page or profile.
