  • @vivek,

    The only way to do that is with the Subscriber Counter Widget which appears to be already used on your site.

    Thanks for your post. Yes, I was about to post back here that I found it through trial and error, but how can I remove the rectangle around the “2” and add “Subscribers” as a text string right after the number. I’m not very good at deciphering code yet. Vivek

    @vivek,

    You can change the colours, text size and box size in the Widgets Settings. Go to the widgets page and open up the Counter Widget to see the settings.

    Thanks a bunch. When I made the changes within Widget Settings, they did not always seem to stick, and I often got an error message when I tried to save the new settings – something like “Text field must have no more than 6 characters.” if I recall correctly. I was however able to show the number of subscribers as I now have them (see my About page) by clicking Plugins > Installed Plugins > Subscribe2 > edit > counterwidget.php and then made some careful edits.

    Now, where I show “2 Subscribers” I would love to add some code that also shows something like “88 Days” and “17 Posts” etc. if that’s possible to do. I am hoping it requires just duping and revising a section of the counterwidget.php file. But if its more complicated and you advise against it, I totally understand.

    Thanks again for a great plugin!

    Vivek

    @vivek,

    Adding a day and post count is beyond the scope of Subscribe2. I’m sure it would be possible but it might be better to look for another solution.
