    Hello,
Very nice plugin but so many troubles…

    My config :

    PS 1.5.4 instal : /root/ps (default shop/default theme)
WP 3.5.2 instal : /root/wp (Twenty ten theme, no other plugin)

PS Integration module V0.9 (images don’t load any longer since I have updated it)

PS Integration module path : ../ps

    mydomain.com -> /root/wp

shop.mydomain.com -> /root/ps (it works ! veryuseful to admin PS without changing mydomain.com destiination !)

    PS Simplified URL : activated
    WP custum permalinks : /%category%/%postname%.html

    product-page.tpl loading – OK
    hooks and modules – OK
cart and cookie are synchronisated – OK

    My problem :
Images don’t load on product-page.tpl any longer since I have updated to v0.9
Every PS links results with de 404 page of wordpress…!

I don’t have any idea of the origin of th problem.
When you say “Please replace the $this->_path in setcookie invocation by simply ‘/’.” where can I try this, where is the file please ?

I read every other users posts whithout finding anything about such problem.
Many thanks in advance for helping me.
    Kind regards
    spix

    Hi spix,

    From the FAQ :

If you try to use two distinct domains for the blog and the shop, it will not work and it is not fixable. At least you need to use two subdomains of the same domain for the blog and the shop, and apply the cookie management to the common domain.

You need to fix the domain of setcookie to use “mydomain.com” for the cookie management in order to share the cookies between PS and WP (else you will have big trouble for the user experience).

To “fix” the images, you may need to add a media server of shop.mydomain.com as there is a bug in PS which “forget” the domain for image URL (you may use redirection as well). Setting the media server (only one) will “fix” that bug.

In fact, you will better avoid the use of the different subdomain as it may break module or some core PS functions.

Note you can share the same origin (PS integration module path : .) for both PS and WP in order to avoid the use of two domain, you will get a very nice website that way that allow you to use the power of WP customization with PrestaShop ecommerce engine (playing with PrestaShop Integration module widget for example). It will be quite difficult for visitor to see the difference between the blog and the shop as everything is integrated together.

    Kind Regards,
    François.

    Hi François,
A half day more on that stuff…

The media server solution you proposed “shop.mydomain.com” fixed de image loading problem !
But only desactivating PS URL Rewriting !

Imported Prestashop links in widgets and product-list.tpl shortcode still don’t work and goes all to WP home page…

I’m about to give up… I think your plugin basicaly can’t run on every server type. So I think you should put some big warning about that on the plugin descrption page…

Today I started everything from scratch one last time, changing the whole config from zero. I detailled everything in a new post named “Impossible to add the product to the cart, textStatus : ‘parsererror’, errorThrown: ‘SyntaxError: Unexpected token <“.

I think this wil be my last try before giving it up, to many bugs, to much time works, no result…
    Thanks
    spix
