Protected Page no protected

Hi! I’ve set up the membership lite plugin with 2 access levels; (subscribers) with a positive rule to allow them to view a ‘Members Only’ page, and a default ‘Visitors’ which has a single negative rule preventing them from seeing the ‘Members Only’ page.

I have a menu item set up, labelled ‘Members Only’ which takes me to Members Only page.

When I view the page as a Visitor (not logged in, cache cleared) I get random results. Most often I am redirected properly to my configured redirection page, but often if I simply click the menu item again, I can view the page as a Visitor 🙁

Any suggestions on how to remedy this? Thanks in advance
