I'm using the Prosto Theme for a site: www dot firstclassfunandfood dot com.
I'd like to change some of the spacing on the site (all pages), like the height of the coloured band (between the grey) and the height of the header and footer.
I've tried everything, but can't figure out how to do it. (Seem to be able to change colour and font size, but nothing else.)
Any help would be REALLY appreciated.

Hey there,
if you use firefox, download the "Web Developer" add-on or if you use google chrome, right-click on an item you want to change, click "inspect item" and it will show you the matching code beneath the page. On the right you will find the css with things like margin and padding. Change the values and see how your page changes.
To the right there will be the HTML code. Move over the items written in blue with your mouse and it will mark the item on the page.

It's not really difficult to make such changes to the wordpress theme if you have a sound knowledge of CSS. You will basically need to do some tweaking to adjust it the way you want. I recommend you get an expert if you are not sure of it as you might mess up everything. And also whether expert or not, always back up your theme before modifying.
