Social experiment is a good grabber ;-)
Prospectus Y is my little idea of hard work, wherein I track myself in all matters related to applying to, attending, graduating, etc., from college for the next decade. I started it because there was a large lack of actually useful information available, and so Prospectus Y is meant not only to be a small social experiment, but also a blog with an actual purpose and an informational hub. But enough about it, check it out!

I have noticed the Firefox issue, and have been pulling my hair out trying to figure out what is going on! I believe (90% sure) that it is a CSS issue, but I've poured over my code.
Did you fix it on your site? If so, what did you do?
    Thanks for the feedback!

Your whole CSS positioning scheme is bOrked. It is prolly an extra / missing div tag. Something of that ilk.

Actually, the CSS scheme was fine. The problem was I had floated my content div, and the menu was set off by using a margin. Because the content div was floated, Firefox was only taking it to the end of the more *real* menu. Switch the two and voila!

Eh? Come again? Still borked. Still changes to blue after the menu is cleared. Other than than, great site.

Ah ha! In case you ever have a situation wherein you have the following layout:
    -- rap --
    -- content (floated) --
    -- menu --
    -- /rap --
    -- footer --
and your background just happens to not be repeating itself past the float... move the footer inside the rap layer! Wow, that one had me going for quite a while. Thanks for the kind comments alleymon and TG.
