    Hi there, is there anyway to associated proper metadata with the table such as:

    <td class="column-3"><span class="start">2014-01-24</span><span
    class="end">2014-01-25</span>January 24-25</td>

    This would be very useful for passing this to a feed up updating another system? I basically want to get the data from a table into another site via xml but just wondering if this meta data can be added to a table at all? Thanks in advance

    Hi,

    thanks for your question.

    Sure, such HTML code is no problem at all. You'll have to type/paste it manually though. TablePress does not have a function to generate it or anything like that.

    @tobias thanks for this, so basically I would need to manually add in this tags into each field in tablepress then and they should not effect the output of the shortcode of course? sorry for double checking but I have been stuck on this for a while now.

    Hi,

    yes, you would need to add them manually.
    They then be visible, too, as they are just HTML. You could however hide them with some "Custom CSS, like

    .tablepress .start,
    .tablepress .stop {
      display: none;
    }

    for you example.

    Regards,
    Tobias
