After updating jetpack by wordpress for my self-hosted website, then I decided to write a blog post and I always must use proofread which is a feature from Jetpack because I have very poor skill in grammar and spelling but now I cannot because I have a error. Before updating jetpack today everything was working smoothly but after updating Jetpack and when I click the button proofread, a prompt showed saying this:

    GENERAL 500
    at wp-admin/admin-ajax.php?action=proxy_atd&_wpnonce=c61af8868e&url=/checkDocument

I would very much greatly appreciate any help!

  • I have the same exact problem, as when I hit publish I get that error too. I am a terrible speller so I count on Jetpack promoting me not check spelling before it goes live, which I do every time.

    GENERAL 500
    at wp-admin/admin-ajax.php?action=proxy_atd&_wpnonce=c61af8868e&url=/checkDocument

Is this something that will be fixed, or is it an indication of something more serious?

    Thanks in advance….

    Howdy,

Could y’all try the updated version 3.0.1 of Jetpack and let me know if you’re still seeing the problem?

@brandon Kraft, just tried on 4 of my sites using JetPack and the issue seems to have resolved in the update. Thanks again.
