Products not showing on Product Category archive pages – disappearing

I downgraded back to WC 2.1.5 (the one that I had started w/) because I started noticing the problems when I upgraded to 2.1.12.

With 2.1.12 products disappeared from Category archive pages at a certain time. Could not tie it to any certain activity.

Thought things were fine w/ 2.1.5 but checked after a couple days and no products were showing on Product Category archive pages. Now only a few products show on Category pages (248 published products show in admin area).

Tried changing permalink settings, doesn’t make a difference.

I am using cron jobs to automatically import and track products from eBay. Using:

wp_insert_post(), update_post_meta(), set_post_thumbnail(), wp_update_post()

Am setting update_post_meta($new_prod_id, ‘_visibility’, ‘visible’); already and checked visibility after started having problems so I don’t think it’s that.

Need serious help with this.
