product Sorting Page Number

I got a website that have the products categories so basically when i click on sorting on page category 2 it sorts what on page 2 does n’t go back to page one and its really confusing me im trying to get the sorting to jump back to page 1 when i select a sorting option like “recent products”

i been looking for this for days now and i can’t find any thing related
