After reading through more scripts it looks like more of my images have a path that includes il.wp.com, so I’m not sure that it is the issue? I’m assuming it’s a wordpress cache? I’m rather new to this. Hopefully someone can help me out here.

When I inspect element I do get the following message:

Consider using ‘dppx’ units instead of ‘dpi’, as in CSS ‘dpi’ means dots-per-CSS-inch, not dots-per-physical-inch, so does not correspond to the actual ‘dpi’ of a screen. In media query expression: (-webkit-min-device-pixel-ratio: 2), (min-resolution: 192dpi) (index):1

It looks like the non-showing images were at one time hosted on wordpress.com and the links to them are persisting, even though the images have been moved to your current hosting.

Selecting an image that doesn’t show, can you find it in Admin page / Media, and click edit. Does the Permalink field include “il.wp.com”? Does the File url field include “il.wp.com”?

If the File url field is correct and the Permalink field incorrect, try resetting your Permalinks. Go to Admin page / Settings / Permalinks and click “Save changes”.

    Thanks for responding lorro.

I tried what you suggested but it didn’t work. It ended up being an issue with “photon” within “jetpack”. I disabled it and it changed the filepath.

Thanks again for offering your help. Glad to have someone chime in with suggestions. So much appreciated.
