    Hi,

    Firstly please forigve my newbieness.

I am attempting to create a wordpress site based around a twitter list in the centre of the site - i appreciate that using a widget i can incorporate these into the sidebar - by using such plugins as Twitter lists for WordPress (http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/twitter-for-wordpress/) however how can i get my site to focus around this? IE have this replace the central column which is by default the place for input blog / posts.

I understood WordPress could utilise this however if i am wrong i would love to be redirected.

Many thanks for anyones time & advice in advance.

    Kindest Regards,

    Matt

If you want this to show up on the home page instead of blog posts, just place the required code on your home page, and set blog posts to appear on another page (e.g. /blog).

OK - I will try this. Thank you.

Could this method be used for example to use the capabilities of a widget on the main page?

Ie what i want to create is something a little like ... http://www.muckrack.com but unrelated.. the central concept is similar.

    thank you

Yes, you could do that. I'd suggest looking into using Twitter's list widget to accomplish this.
