Using Godaddy's one click install i installed a blog on my clients site and while godday informed me that the installation was success, it is not - see
http://www.sheeleylaw.com/RI-and-MA-Personal-Injury-Lawyer-Blog/
I have removed the blog and reinstalled it a couple of times with the same result. GODaDDY just say that they are not responsible for post-installation.
Any ideas (other than a traditional long-hand installation)??
George.
evidently the php is not running or working correctly if the files are being dispalyed
as host it is their responsibility to handle this
personally, I would demand they get it working correctly as it is their script
edit - several months ago, godaddy made a commitment to wordpress to support the software better
to date, I've seen no evidence of this
@SirGeorge,
It appears that the.htaccess file in your the root of the hosting account may be causing issues with the WordPress installs. You might want to try renaming that file temporarily to see if it allows the site to load. If the site loads, then you will know for sure that the .htaccess file contains entries that do not work will with the WordPress install.
If you continue to see issues, you can also submit a support request at http://x.co/WeHelp which will allow support to access your hosting account and find more specific details for you.
