    Hi

I’ve uploaded a new plugin in the WordPress Plugin Directory but I cannot see my plugin page correctly: There are not navigation tabs and the information is incomplete.

    The plugin is:
    http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/etiquetags20/

I wrote to plugins support because I had not received the e-mail approving it, and they answered to me that they would send me in “two hours” … one week ago.

I wrote to them twice but I have got no answer at all.

The plugin is approved, the readme file is correct, I can use svn, so… I don’t understand anything … if someone could help me or give me any idea …

thank you very much in advanced

    Marta (sisifodichoso)

    Hi Samuel

I wrote to plugins support because I had not received the e-mail approving it, and they answered to me that they would send me [the conformation e-mail] in “two hours” … one week ago

I wrote to plugins@wordpress.org but thy don’t answer me … that’s the point

Check your spam trap on your mail? Maybe it’s being processed by your server as spam?

I was checking the spam folder in the webmail page and in my thuntherbird but I’ve found nothing there.

I’ve received one (and only one) e-mail from plugins@wordpress.org so I think is not considered as spam …

    thank you, ipstenu

Well someone was able to log in and SVN up the files because there is some data there.

If the plugin is up, you should be able to login with your forum user I’d and password. Which you said you can. I think your read me is formatted incorrectly. Did you run it through the format checker?

I haven’t explained my problem well.

Two months ago, I filled out the form to ask to host my plugin etiquetags20 but I didn’t receive any answer.

I wrote to plugins@wordpress.org asking for help and they answered to me one week ago.

When I received this e-mail, they told me that the plugin was approved (and that they resend me a confirmation e-mail that it was lost somewhere) so I’ve uploaded the files, but I cannot see the navigation tabs in the page, although the readme.txt file is correct, and I don’t have a stats tab.

Besides this, the information in the right sidebar is incomplete and the plugin is not in the general browser. I wrote to them twice after this but they don’t answer to me …

Which is why I said I think your readme.txt is wrongly formatted 🙂 That file is what detemines the tabs and all that fun stuff, so if you did that wrong (and it’s similar too, but NOT exactly like wiki formatting) then you’ll have what you have.

It’s the simplest answer, which is often the right one.

    Hi ipstenu,

First of all, thank you very much for your answers …

I’m afraid that this is not the problem: I checked several times the readme.txt file and it is correct:

    http://www.etiquetags.org/readme.txt

    thank you again

    Hi

This thread has not been solved but is now finally closed.

The “solution” was … beginning “from scratch” : new user, new plugin-name but same files: same readme.txt, same plugin.php file and so on …

    Everything works perfectly.

    http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/myetiquetags/

There is only a “little problem” : I cannot delete the old plugin (named etiquetags20). And yes … I’ve written to plugins@wordpress.org (without any answer … again)
… and yes I’ve read the information about plugins in codex pages.

Thank you very much to ipstenu for his help 🙂

    S.
