  • Hi all,

I had the Twitter link added to my blog and all the other links down the righthand side disappeared. There was no Blogroll, catagories, archives,or anything. Even the login link disappeared, so I couldn’t access the dashboard. The only thing showing was the Twitter link.
The Twitter link was removed and BINGO….everything was restored.
Any ideas as to why this happened?
Simple language please, as I am a newbie at this!!!!
    Thanks

  • you were using a widget. Out of the box using a widget disables the static stuff in the sidebar from displaying.

PS: not having a link in the sidebar doesnt mean you cant login — it just means you dont have a link, and have to actually type out the url. its not exceedingly difficult to do, you just put /wp-login.php after the url that points to your blog.
