I need help. I maintain 4 blogs with one user name and password but for some reason, I can only access one of the 4. Links to the other 3 don't work. I need to access all 4. I need help. I log in and can see the dash board for all 4 but when clicking on 3 of them, I get the following message: (I'm using the right password and user name but I think someone has messed something up for me.)
    Error establishing a database connection

This either means that the username and password information in your wp-config.php file is incorrect or we can't contact the database server at mysql50-41.wc2.dfw1.stabletransit.com. This could mean your host's database server is down.

    * Are you sure you have the correct username and password?
    * Are you sure that you have typed the correct hostname?
    * Are you sure that the database server is running?

I understood it was... how do I know for sure? Bottom line, I need help

  4. That means it can't find the database. Odd, considering they're all in the same database probably.

Are you the Super Admin? Do you have access to the database itself to make sure the blogs are there?

I suppose I'm not a Super Admin... the company that set this up, walked away and refuses to help. I'm admin for the 4 blogs. Does this mean without them, I'm sunk?

  6. Well, someone must have access to the server....
