    Hi all

Im trying to restore my database from a different website with version 2.7, to a new one (version 2.81), with of course a new URL. Anyway, i have uploaded the DB-backap to the new database for my new website, but when i enter the wordpress admin-area and click on "pages" or "links" or whatever, the screen turns white, with a wordpress-messege in the middle like this; (Look below), and in the URL field i can see the domain for my old website (where my db-backup comes from):

    "No Upgrade Required"

Your WordPress database is already up-to-date!

    "Continue" (clickable)

When i then click contiue, i get forwarded to the main page for my previous website.

Someone who can help me with this problem?

    Kind regards
    Christopher

    Hi,

You need to change the site URL from wp_options table and set the new site URL

    Thanks,

    Shane G.
