   Hi guys. user names in my blog were all in greek. I didnt have a problem, until now.

   But the last months (possibly after an upgrade to wordpress 2) whenever i try to change a user's profile i get a silly message

   ERROR: This username is invalid. Please enter a valid username.

   Can anyone help?

   The only workaround I can think of: make the username with Latin characters and the "nickname" by using the Greek alphabet.
   Otherwise, if it worked correctly with usernames in Greek - you should consider reporting it as a bug:

   thanks for the reply

   the problem is i can not change anything, not even the username! I would have to make a new user and manually transfer him all the posts of the old username!

   Yes it used to work correctlly, i will report it.
