Yes, Your Slider is correct. If there is no image in post then on slide only text contents get appears without image block.

Apology for the confusion over here. Smooth Slider doesn’t auto adjust in height if there is no image available in a slide as this feature cause inconvenience to those who are reading the content just available below the slider as that will keep sliding up and down. That’s why we have kept the set height fixed.
I would recommend to add any default image (probably your logo) as the featured image for the slides which are not having images inside the post. That will fix the blank area issue as well as it will help you in branding too.
Let me know your thoughts.
P.S. Premium sliders on SliderVilla comes with default image option i.e. if no image is available in the slide, the default image will appear and you can set the default image on settings panel. We are planing to introduce the same in the next version of Smooth Slider too.
