I just switched my hosting from GoDaddy to Namecheap, backed up my wordpress root folder and closed the old account, thinking that I would be able to seamlessly just upload all of that and have everything work 100%.
I seem to have miscalculated quite a bit. I was able to upload everything and update the wp-config, but all my old configurations and posts are gone and it's just a vanilla page with a hello world post.
I figure there's probably something I need to update to tell it how to find the old posts - I just don't know what. I'm using Arra's theme and it's discoverytraveloutlet.com
Thank you for any help you can give!

Unfortunately all I did was copy the root folder and then I closed my hosting account. I didn't realize at the time that I needed a database backup too.
Unless you have a backup saved somewhere from an earlier date, your data is completely gone.

Argh, oh well. Lesson learned for next time. Thanks for your help guys.
Might be worth contacting your old host - they may have kept a backup copy of your database. Alternatively you *may* be able to retrieve some content via google archived copies - that would be a bit of a manual job to copy in though.
