Problems with jQuery in one of two blogs

Hi there,

I have two blogs (one of them is a sub-domain to the other), and the main one has the following problem:

/wp-includes/js/jquery/jquery.js?ver=1.2.6:11

The solution that many users are telling me to use is to erase the following lines in the edit-form-advanced.php file:

$metadata = has_meta($post->ID);
list_meta($metadata);
?>

My problem is that I can’t get rid of the custom fields, due to my theme.

What can I do?

P.S.: Using 2.7-RC1, but the problem showed up also with 2.6.5.
