Problems with Displaying Pages from Menu Bar

I am having trouble with the brightpage theme. I can get the picture to display in the featured column, which I like. One thing I am having trouble with is, when you navigate down to the blog and click Read more… It brings you to the entire article. However, if you create navigation in the grey bar overhead, it will only bring you to a section of the article without photos or formatting. How can I get the site to display the same thing through either navigation method?
