Hi there,
I've installed the Collapsing Categories Plugin through the widget panel but it is not working. Trying to look for a way to make it work I looked for "wp_list_cats(...)" to manually install it. Doing this I realized this template tag has been deprecated and replaced by "wp_list_categories()" http://codex.wordpress.org/Template_Tags/wp_list_cats
Does anyone have a solution to make this collapsing categories plugin work?

The widget claims to be 2.3 compatible, and looking at the version downloaded from here: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/collapsing-categories/
I would agree. It should work just fine. What problems are you having with it in particular?

The plugin is installed and activated but is not working - categories are not collapsible. See http://anaotero.com/blog/
It's not working because it's not being used. That page doesn't have the Collapsing Categories Widget on it, just the regular categories widget.

Yes, but did you actually go to the Presentation->Sidebar Widgets admin screen and drag the Collapsing Categories Widget onto the sidebar?
Widgets are plugins, yes, but they're usually not automatic. You need to actually put the widget onto the page before it works.

Hi,
I have quite a few category and I really want to use this plugin. Please help me.
I have installed but it has got an error and it says:

hi i am using wordpress 2.6.3 and i get this error when i apply the collapsing pages widget if i have this tree
pages> subpages> subsubpages
does anyone know how to fix this? please help. thank you
