    Hello,
I need an event manager for a website, so I tried this one which seems very nice. I installed everything without problem, and added the calendar widget to the sidebar. My problem is that when I click on an event, the page of the event is displayed, but when I try make a booking for it nothing seems to happen. When I’m clicking on the booking button, I just see an animated gif with a little wheel/flower which turns like if it’s loading or sending data, then it disappear. When I check my emails, I get nothing, and when I check for bookings for this event in the admin, I see no booking at all. Could you please help me find out what I’m doing wrong ?

Thanks in advance for all your help !

    hi,

this might be a theme issue, try to temporarily revert back to default twenty twelve theme to confirm; also, maybe your theme is loading other jquery version aside from wordpress jquery library.

    Hello angelo_nwl,

Thank you very much for your answer. I’m already using twenty twelve theme, because for the moment I’m testing plugins and widgets, so I didn’t choose any particular theme. I’ve also tried with twenty eleven and twenty ten, but still luck. I also deactivated every othe plugin, so the only one running at the moment is event manager. I guess I’m doing something wrong, but can’t see what.

    Any other ideas ?

I’m testing this on my local computer (with twenty twelve theme as I said), but I also have tested it online on a test site but the theme is not twenty twelve. Here’s a link to the online version, you can see the calendar with the event in the left sidebar (sorry for the layout problems, as I said, it’s just a test site…): http://www.wordpress.somewhere.be/?p=4070

did you get any javascript error using browser error console? you can also turn-on WP_DEBUG or check your php logs to see if there’s any other error.

No javascript error using the firefox error console, and I turned on the WP_DEBUG but no error message appears. Where do I check my php logs ?

    Thanks !

[Edit]Alright, just found the php log file, I don’t see any errors in it…

Might be worth running the logs that Events Manager generates. You can enable the logs by going to Events > Settings > Admin Tools > Enable Logging.

that won’t help, it’s a pro feature specifically aimed at paypal atm.

there’s some users on the pro forums with this problem too, I think an update will be out shortly as we’ll be debugging their sites closer and fixing asap.
