• If there’s a link to the answer to this question, then I apologise in advance, as I’ve failed to find it:

    I have seven themes installed on my fresh WP2.2 install:
    * Almost Spring 1.3 (active)
    * Freshy 1.0
    * Hemingway 0.19
    * Japanese Cherry Blossom 1.0
    * RED growth live! 1.0A
    * WordPress Classic 1.5
    * WordPress Default 1.6

    (I have also a handful of the most popular plugins installed)

    I subsequently added Sandbox v0.9.3 but this has failed to show up in the Themes Manager. It is installed alongside the other Themes in /wp-content/themes/

    I wondered whether there was a maximum of seven themes installed, so I removed the directories of all themes except

    * Almost Spring 1.3 (active)
    * WordPress Classic 1.5
    * WordPress Default 1.6
    * Sandbox v0.9.3

    But there is no change in the Theme Manager – the original seven still show, and are still available in the Theme Editor. Weird.

    Any help is gratefully received,
    thanks

    Chris

  • Have you got wp-cache installed? I don’t use it myself, so I don’t know if it could affect this, but if you do, disable it and see if the problem disappears.

    Thanks for the idea Ma8thew. The problem is resolved now – it looks like my ISP was messing around with my directories; I was seeing one thing, but WP was seeing something else. We’re both seeing the same thing now 🙂
    Best wishes,
    Chris
