can someone please help me? i have NO idea about html etc. 'n want to remove the "leave a comment" from all my pages etc... i looked through older posts about this 'n did all that it said concerning removing it from the discussions part 'n from the screen options. but it still comes up. can someone explain to me how to get rid of it? thanks so much :) the site alkray.com and the theme twenty ten

  2. Two things.

    1) If you want NO comments, you need to turn off comments here: http://codex.wordpress.org/Settings_Discussion_Screen

    2) THEN you need to EDIT your existing posts and pages to turn them off.

If you look at the discussion widget, expand that, you can turn it off.

thanks so much! i double checked this and did all what you suggested. but the leave comment thing is still coming up. any other ideas?

  4. Did you edit the pages? http://alkray.com/shop-2/ and http://alkray.com/dolls/ are the only two I see.

yea, so weird. i unticked all the boxes... there should be nothing. maybe i should use a different theme... :(

  6. No, Twenty Ten can do this just fine (I do it on a site).

Are you sure you unticked BOTH discussion boxes on the pages? And that they were the RIGHT pages?
