Problems moving from MT 3.2 to WP 2.0 (1 post)

    I moved from MT to WP yesterday, and all my permalinks are messed up. I am going cross-eyed from all the files I've looked at about this situation (such as http://codex.wordpress.org/Permalinks#Fixing_Permalink_Problems), and I've gotten no closer to solving the problem. I've also installed Ryan Boren's Underscore Permalinks plug-in, but that hasn't helped.

    I'm running WP on an Apache server (Mac OS X). Mod_rewrite is on. AllowOverride is on.

    My permalinks structure is: /%year%/%monthnum%/%postname%.html

    I played around with adding a few things to the .htaccess file, but none worked. Eventually I deleted the .htaccess file and regenerated it via the Options > Permalinks page.

    My .htaccess file (set to 666) now reads

    # BEGIN WordPress
    <IfModule mod_rewrite.c>
    RewriteEngine On
    RewriteBase /
    RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
    RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
    RewriteRule . /index.php [L]
    </IfModule>

    # END WordPress

    Any help gratefully appreciated.
