   I am at the end of my ideas. I just installed wordpress 2.1 probably 6 times trying everything I have found in forums etc etc. If I install version 1.5 through plesk it works fine. If I install 2.1 I can get the blog to display but I can't login to the admin.

   the blog is at http://z-doc.com/wordpress

   admin password is c21178

   Any help would be appreciated. I'm out of ideas.

   'You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page.'

   It helps to let people know what message you are seeing :)

   are you installing the 2.x version through plesk?

   Have you tried doing the install the old fashion way?

   Are you installing 1.5 and then upgrading? if so, have you seen this?

   I installed 2.1 with the instructions provided on the wordpress website. Not through plesk.

   I tried upgrading 1.5 and that didn't work so I just removed everything and reinstalled from scratch. Deleted the database too.

   I ran the script on the off chance it would help but I still have the same problem.
